What is Adopt-A-Street Program? Adopt-A-Street Program is a Community Service in partnership with the City of Tallahassee where profit and not-for-profit Corporation or Community Organization maintain a street segment once a month. In return, the City of Tallahassee advertises the name of your organization along that street. BBFAA is for Kerry Forest Parkway from Thomasville Road to Shannon Lakes.

Time: 2:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Assembly at 2:30 p.m.

Bike-A-Thon 2008, 3rd Member Development Series
Organized bike ride on St. Mark's Rail Trail
Ride ends at San Marcos de Apalachee Park (about 7.5 miles). We will have a POTLUCK picnic at the park, BBFAA will provide drinks and a dish.
There will be prizes for the first 10 kids who show up ready to ride. Parents should arrange for carpool if they do not wish to bike back to the Station.
If you would like to wear a BBFAA T-shirt for the event, call Lorna Roman (894-5593 eve. or 933-6954) to order (specify quantity and size XL, L,M,S--$10 each, $12 for XXL,). We will bring your shirts to the event.
Bring your friends and families and your own BIKES! This will be a fun day for everyone!

"Come and be a part of the Annual Asian Festival "Experience Asia, 2008," one of Tallahassee's premiere cultural events! In its third year, "Experience Asia 2007" drew a crowd of 10,000 to Tallahassee, flew in international performers from Taiwan and Korea, and was featured in international news forums, like Asia Trend Magazine. "Experience Asia 2008 will be on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at the Bloxham and Lewis Parks in downtown Tallahassee, featuring non-stop cultural performances, demonstrations, arts and crafts and the best of Asian cuisine.
