BBFAA Named Scholarship Program

What is Named Scholarship?

Do you wish to make a difference in the lives of our kababayans? Do you wish to leave a lasting legacy to your Alma Mater?  Do you want to preserve the memory of a loved one while supporting education?

Consider giving a lasting gift to the BBFAA Named Scholarship Program. You can give scholarships to deserving college youths under the name of your choice without having to worry about paperwork and management that goes with it. Your gift is 100% tax-deductible.

The donor

1)       pledges $500 per year for 4 years (less than $1.50 per day!) for each sponsored student.
2)
determines the name of the scholarship, for example, BBFAA Juan dela Cruz Memorial Scholarship.
3)       chooses the recipient school (due to tuition cost differences, a student in public schools benefit the most).
4)
receives an update of the scholar’s standing every semester.

The BBFAA

1)
negotiates with the university or college to establish the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). The school maintains the record of the named benefactors in its archives.
2)
    evaluates the applications
3)  maintains contact with the recipient until graduation
4)
advertises the named scholarship at its website.

If you have any questions or donations of large sums, contact the Scholarship Committee.
